Australia's North West - Case Study

About Australia's North West:

Australia’s North West Tourism (ANW) is the peak tourism body for the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Western Australia. They are responsible for the promotion of the North West as a premier tourism destination in both domestic and international markets with the objective of increasing visitor arrivals on behalf of its members.

As a not-for-profit organisation, ANW funded by a combination of membership fees and support from Tourism WA, Local Governments and other stakeholders. Members play an active role in setting the strategy for the marketing of the region and are represented on the Board of ANW. They are industry-led and provide a strong voice for tourism in the North West.

Adopting the HIVO DAM platform has been a true benefit for our organisation. The process of categorising, storing and sharing assets through HIVO has created efficiencies and time savings for staff, and ensures the quality of our assets. An added bonus is the streamlined creator upload option – this has saved us so much time when compared to our previous processes.

Why Australia’s North West Tourism Adopted HIVO for Digital Asset Management:

ANW recently adopted HIVO's Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform in order to improve the management and distribution of the organisation's digital assets, such as images and videos.

The problem Australia's North West was facing prior to adopting HIVO's DAM platform was the lack of an efficient and centralised system for managing and distributing their digital assets. Staff were using a variety of different platforms, such as Google Drive and Dropbox, to store and share their assets, which resulted in a disorganised and inefficient process. The team was also spending a significant amount of time searching for and retrieving assets, which was taking away from their ability to focus on other important tasks.

The solution was to adopt HIVO's DAM platform, which provided Australia's North West with a centralised system for managing and distributing their digital assets, including tourism imagery, videos, logos, fonts and colours. The HIVO platform allows the ANW team to easily upload, organise, and share their assets internally and externally, making the process of finding and retrieving assets much more efficient. Additionally, HIVO also provides advanced search and filtering capabilities, which further improves the team's ability to find and retrieve specific assets as and when they need them.

How Australia’s North West Tourism has been using HIVO:

Since adopting HIVO, Australia's North West has been able to significantly improve their workflows and also increase productivity as a result of adopting HIVO's DAM platform. The team is able to spend less time searching for and retrieving assets, and more time focusing on other important tasks such as creating new marketing campaigns and promoting the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Western Australia. Additionally, the platform also helped to improve the consistency and quality of their digital assets.

Overall, Australia's North West's adoption of HIVO's Digital Asset Management platform has been a great success. The platform provided the organisation with a centralised and efficient system for managing and distributing their digital assets, which significantly improved their workflow and increased their productivity. Additionally, the platform also helped to improve the consistency and quality of their digital assets, which helped to better promote the region.
