Where is HIVO hosted?

HIVO is hosted with Amazon Web Services. Due to the use of AWS and Amazon S3, storage and scaling is not a problem.

What is HIVO's uptime?

HIVO's uptime is 99,9% - HIVO works with a cloud-based storage solution: Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS offers the possibility to store a virtually unlimitedly amount of data with a guaranteed availability of 99.99%, and a guaranteed data durability of 99.999999999%.

Is HIVO secure?

Yes. Security and privacy are a priority. Contact support for details on their security posture.

Can HIVO create smaller versions of images?

Yes. During upload, it can auto-generate pre-defined derivatives with different quality, format, and extension. Requires setup during implementation.

Can HIVO transcode videos?

Yes. Pre-defined video derivatives with different quality and format can be auto-created on upload.

Can HIVO transcode videos?

How does HIVO handle initial asset uploads?

Via the HIVO uploader tool, or you can provide assets for them to upload. They can also run duplicate removal scans and manage metadata during ingest.

Does HIVO back up assets?

Yes. Backups are included in the SLA with a multiple back-up policy.

I forgot my password — what do I do?

You can retrieve this information by clicking here and entering in the email address associated with your HIVO user account. Follow the prompts and the new password will be sent to your registered HIVO email account.
